MARA GORDON SAMUELS Founder and President With more than 20 years experience, Mara is MGS Marketing Solutions’ top marketing strategist and business communicator. What sets her and her agency apart from other marketing consulting practices is a rare blend of creative and operational competencies.

Mara has a proven track record spanning a broad range of marketing disciplines including marketing/business research, strategic marketing, sales support, marketing communications, public relations, event management and electronic/web media. She is experienced at supporting new business initiatives in both start-ups and large enterprises having held various marketing positions at companies as diverse as Russ Berrie (toys/gifts), Bowery Savings Bank (financial), A&E Products Group (manufacturing), Telcordia Technologies (telecommunications), Novell (software) and, most recently, Cisco Systems (hardware).

Since the launch of a consulting practice in 2001, Mara has been acquiring and supporting clients in such diverse industries as telecommunications, high tech, financial services, retail, non-profit associations, marketing and public relations.

Mara received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey and has participated in advanced marketing and communications studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Seton Hall. She is an active member of the International Association of Business Communicators, having served at the chapter, district and region level, including a recent term as Region Director.
